Skate. Animation Review

I played the new Skate game that came out this year that was produced by EA and on is PC and Console. skate. is a skateboarding simulator set in the city of San Van. You can skate all around the city and on top of the buildings and even create your own lines to skate. Like the previous games, it tries to take a realistic to most of its look and animation. The animators goals are to make each trick and every part on the board be as similar as possible to real life.

One positive that I found with the animation in this game is that it feels like my character is doing the action that it was told. The motion feels natural. That the characters feet are moving the right way in order to complete the trick that I put in. Even with the more ridiculous parts like gliding looks like the gliding animation is matched with the correct motion.
One negative I have is that the animation does not seem natural when it comes to doing tricks near sharp edges. The legs and feet move to be on that edge making the animation no longer natural.
