Introduction To Me

 



Hello, my name is Drew. I am an aspiring game developer and game enjoyer. My favorite games are Elden Ring, Halo: Reach and Battlefield. While I do not have one genre that I love and stay in, I do have one genre I don't like playing. More specifically I do not like turn based games. I am branching out and trying to play Expedition 33, Wasteland 3 and Gears Tactics. Though I do like action games that have a fight system that works like a rhythm. This would include the Space Marine games, Spiderman Batman. As always, a game with great story and great combat system, like Halo, Gears of War, and Soulsborne games.



I have decided to enter the game development because I have been playing games since I was six and I just want to be apart of the process that has been so persistent in my life. Video games is a big part of my life and how I grew up and I want it continue when it was in a golden age and I want to be apart of it. The contribution that I want to add to the gaming industry is good games with a decent story. I want to make each game at an reasonable price for the people who will play. I just want to make fun games that I believe in.

  Skate. is an new game that came out on the 16th of September of this year. It is free-to-play game made by Full Circle and Electronic Arts. While this game is about skating, it is in the sports genre. This game is available on all platforms, but you do need a controller to play the game, even for PC. This game has been a long waited sequel to the game Skate 3, make this the 4th game in this series. Like the previous games, this one continues and upgrades the flick-it system. This is the system that allows you to actually do tricks. You flick the right stick in order to do tricks and depending on the movement of the stick, it does a different trick. A Kingdom for Keflings

  A Kingdom for Keflings is a city-building game from 2008 made by NinjaBee. It is a very simple and chill game to play. It was originally made for the Xbox 360, but was ported to Microsoft Windows in 2010. This game was a commercial success for NinjaBee and sold over 600,000 copies by 2011. A Kingdom for Keflings has a cartoonish and colorful art style. NinjaBee made a good choice with this art style because it effectively gives the keflings an adorable feel because you are a giant compared to them.  You play as giant that has the goal of helping the kelfings build their kingdom. You can play by yourself or up to 3 friends. The giant you play as can be one that the game has given you or you can play as your Xbox avatar to help the keflings. To achieve the goal of building the kingdom, you must harvest materials by either doing it yourself or assigning keflings to harvest it for you.
